Administration of project spaces
Users and project space admins can access the administration page of their project spaces. Project space admins can use the administration page for
- adding or removing users from project spaces,
- activating or deactivating the individual IT-services of the Projektablage,
- resetting the passwords of members of project spaces.

Start page
After logging in to the administration page, you will see a start page with links to the possible actions:
A list of the project spaces in which you are involved can be found on the left-hand side of the screen. Alternatively, such a list can be called up via the item ‘Übersicht über Ihre Projekte’ on the start page. At this point, the projects for which you possess administration privileges are marked by the appendix ‘(admin)’.

Detailed view of a project space
If you select one of the project spaces you will be taken to a page displaying its details. There administrators can activate the individual IT-services for the project space and set the permissions of its members.
In the example project ‘luis-test-project2’ (as shown above), two distinct IT-services are activated, namely Overleaf and Seafile. By the setting of the permissions, the only administrator for the project (testadmin@luis.uni-hannover.de) currently does not have access to these two services. However, the user testnutzer@luis.uni-hannover.de does have read and write access ('lesen und schreiben') to both Overleaf and Seafile.
Non-administrative users, on the other hand, can only see a brief overview of the services and the other users in the project space (as shown below). -
Adding users
In order to add a new user to a project space, the email address is entered in one of the ‘Neuer Benutzer’ fields. In addition, the new user's permissions for the various IT-services can be set.
Changes must be confirmed by clicking on the button ‘Änderungen übernehmen’ below the table, followed by a final confirmation by clicking ‘OK’.

Removing users
Users can be removed from a project space by clicking on the link "Nutzer aus Projekt löschen" directly below the users email address.

Activating or deactivating individual IT-services
By ticking the corresponding box above the table, the individual IT-services can be activated individually in the project space. A new column then appears in the table, which allows setting the permissions of the individual users.
To be able to deactivate an IT-service again, the access rights of all users must first be set to ‘kein Zugriff’.
Changes must be confirmed by clicking on the ‘Änderungen übernehmen’ button, followed by a final click on ‘OK‘. -
Resetting a user's password
The password of a member can be reset via the corresponding link ('Passwort zurücksetzen') below the email address. The person will then receive an email with a link that can be used to reset the password.

Setting the expiration date
The expiration date of a project space can be set by entering a new date in the corresponding field ‘Projektdetails ändern’ above the table. The new expiration date must be confirmed by clicking on ‘Projekt verlängern’.
In order to deactivate a project space ahead of its expiration date, the date can be set to an earlier point in time (e.g. the current day). After expiration, the project space automatically becomes inactive.
