LUIS IT-security team
The LUIS IT-security team is responsible for central information security measures of both a preventive and reactive nature, in particular the handling of information security incidents ("emergency response"), and advises on information security issues.
Please send normal support requests to support@luis.uni-hannover.de.
In an emergency, for confidential matters or if you have an explicit request, you can also contact the IT security team directly by sending your request to security@luis.uni-hannover.de.
If you would like to communicate with the IT-security team in encrypted form, you have two options:
- Please indicate this in your request to security@luis.uni-hannover.de. A member of staff will then contact you directly by encrypted e-mail.
or
- Write an encrypted e-mail directly to security-pgp@luis.uni-hannover.de. You can encrypt it with the corresponding public key. As this mailbox may not be read every day, we advise you to write an additional (unencrypted info) mail to security@luis.uni-hannover.de.
- Please indicate this in your request to security@luis.uni-hannover.de. A member of staff will then contact you directly by encrypted e-mail.

CERTs (Computer Emergency Response Teams)
Computer Emergency Response Teams (CERTs) are dedicated to the timely detection and assessment of acute threats. CERTs exist on different levels:
The knowledge gained is made available to the users. DFN-CERT regularly sends out the latest available security alerts, which you can also subscribe to via LUIS.
Alternatively, you can also get information from CERTs via Twitter:
The BSI also provides information to consumers away from the IT Grundschutzkompendium.
